Find out moreThe village of Badsey is well placed for easy access to nearby cities, making it ideal for commuters who want to live away from the hustle and bustle of urban life. The B4035 runs through Badsey, connecting residents to Evesham in 10 minutes and providing access to the A46, which links to Stratford-upon-Avon (around 20 minutes), Tewkesbury (less than half an hour) and Coventry (50 minutes).
As for rail travel, both Evesham and Honeybourne train stations are less than 10 minutes’ drive from our new homes in Badsey. Both stations offer direct routes to London Paddington, in an hour and 50 minutes, and Worcester Forgate Street, in around half an hour.
Local bus services also provide convenient connections, with the hourly 553 passing through Evesham and Honeybourne, and the 247 linking Badsey to the nearby town of Redditch.
This quiet Worcestershire village is equipped with everyday amenities, including a local SPAR shop, post office and butchers on the high street, just a 15-minute walk from our new homes in Badsey.
Residents also have the choice of two local pubs. Round of Gras is less than a 5-minute walk from our development and celebrates the village’s historic asparagus-growing tradition, while the Wheatsheaf Inn, dating back to the 17th century, is in the heart of the village, less than 20 minutes’ walk away.
Surrounded by countryside, rural Badsey also offers a range of outdoor activities, including various walking routes, the Badsey Allotments, a Community & Sports Club, the local Cricket Club, and the Evesham Archery Club.
Our new homes in Badsey are qlso only a little over 2 miles from the nearest GP surgery, DeMontfort Medical Centre in Evesham. This neighbouring town is also where you’ll find the closest minor injury unit, at Evesham Community Hospital.
Life in Badsey offers the best of both worlds, combining a peaceful village setting with easy access to countryside, nearby towns and popular attractions. Located on the edge of the Cotswolds, the area is ideal for those who enjoy spending time outdoors, with walking routes throughout the Vale of Evesham and nature close to home at Badsey Lane Nature Reserve.
For outdoor adventures a little further afield, the National Trust’s Dover’s Hill is situated just 15 minutes’ drive away and offers sweeping panoramic views across the Cotswolds. Other nearby National Trust highlights include Hidcote Manor Garden (20-minutes’ drive), internationally celebrated for its beautiful Arts and Crafts garden design, and Snowshill Manor & Garden (25-minutes’ drive), which is famed for its quirky collections.
Even more amenities can be found in the nearby market town of Evesham, only 10 minutes from our new homes in Badsey. Here, residents can shop at Waitrose, enjoy a number of independent restaurants and cafés along Vine Street or stay active at the The Loft 24hr Gym and Evesham Leisure Centre. Evesham is also home to the Regal Cinema, a popular spot to enjoy the latest film releases.
For family-friendly attractions nearby, there’s The Valley Railway Adventure, a 1-mile loop with working steam engines, the All Things Wild zoo in Honeybourne, and the Hampton Ferry where visitors can enjoy a short river crossing and scenic walks along the River Avon.

Bengeworth CE Academy – A primary academy offering nursery places for children aged 3-4 years old, Bengeworth combines early learning with a value-led ethos. The school is also less than 10 minutes’ drive from our development.
Evesham Nursery School – Also, within a 10-minute drive of our development, this Evesham nursery is known for its specialist focus on child development and inclusive learning.
For middle and secondary schools, there are several options nearby:
Blackminster Middle School – Offering a balanced curriculum for children aged 9-13, as well as strong support for students with special educational needs, this popular middle school is situated in neighbouring Blackminster, just 5 minutes from Badsey.
The De Montfort School – For children aged 9-13, this middle school offers a broad curriculum and support ahead of the transition into secondary education. Located in Evesham, this school is a convenient 10-minute drive from our development.
St Egwins CofE Middle School - Providing a Church of England ethos and a balanced curriculum, St Egwins is another option for local children aged 9-13. Situated in nearby Evesham, the school is just 10 minutes’ drive away.
