Sue and Dave reveal how the lack of DIY attracted them to a new build
Sue and Dave chose a two-bedroom Drake at Elgar Park after being drawn to the new-build’s modern features and convenience compared to second-hand properties. Watch or read their story below.

"Hi, my name's Sue. My partner and I have bought a two-bedroom Drake on Elgar Park. I lived locally in Martley and I used to drive past Elgar Park every day and I
just think how lovely. So I came along and had a look at the show home. The reason I bought a new build was I was looking at second-hand properties and found that there was always a lot of work to do. So when I decided to come and look at Bloor Homes I just fell in love with all the fact that the kitchens are Symphony and it was all lovely and brand new. I just thought, wow, I could pick all the things that I wanted. I was originally attracted to the two-bedroom Drake because I was downsizing from a four bedroom detached and one of the main things I wanted was a downstairs toilet and a utility area. That was why I chose the Drake, I especially like the kitchen because obviously you've got a seating area, you've got your cooking area, your utility is separate and you've got your downstairs toilet. I could almost live in my kitchen. The location's fabulous because you can walk into Worcester, so it's fabulous for you know being near to the city but you're still in a village location. Buying a Bloor Home was a very smooth process Sandra and Karen were really helpful and always good to answer any questions you had. Everything's been excellent."
