Melanie talks bespoke options after buying a new build home 

Melanie shares her positive experience living in a Bloor home at Wavendon Green, noting that the location is ideal for her busy lifestyle and the Drake house is the perfect size for her. Watch or read their story below.

"My name is Melanie De La Ford and I live in Wavendon Green in Milton Keynes. I live in the Drake house which is a two bedroom house, semi. Perfect because it's 

exactly the right size for me. Wavendon Green is great because it's situated near the motorway and easy distance from everything that I do; the gym, the centre and local shops. I'm always going to restaurants." 

Why did you choose Bloor 

"I chose Bloor because I'd looked up loads of different housing. I knew there was like two or three that I might have gone for but based on how other people had gone through it, you know, the process, I thought Bloor looked the best." 

Why did you choose Wavendon Green 

"Actually where this was situated was key for me I bought the house off plan. Because it was off plan I could choose all my items. Then I got a bespoke you know nice kitchen with quartz and I got really nice flooring and I upgraded the carpet and the bathroom, so it was just the way I wanted it. So the beauty of having a new build, the beauty of having a new build is that I can walk into the house and everything is done. I don't have to do any renovation, all I'd have to do is put my furniture in and that's really what I've experienced and start living because I'm a really busy person and I don't really like DIY. The best thing about the journey, about the whole journey was the Bloor sales team. I really got on with the two ladies that helped me and sometimes emailed them daily and they were great. I would recommend Bloor to family and friends because actually the journey's been fantastic and my house is amazing. So I definitely would recommend it."
