How does the Bloor Homes Assisted Move Scheme Work?
We make it straightforward for you to move into the home you've been dreaming about, with a refined, seamless process.
- Step 2
Get independent valuations
We'll ensure you receive fair, independent valuations of your existing property from at least two local estate agents.
- Step 3
Put your home on the market
If you are happy to proceed, we work with the estate agent to handle any marketing, viewing and negotiations for your property.
- Step 4
Sell your property
Once you receive an acceptable offer, the sale will move forward as normal. We will look after the property chain and keep you updated on the sale process.
- Step 5
Moving in
Once the sale completes, Bloor will contribute to the estate agent fees and pay directly to the estate agent - saving you money on fees.

- Your property must be in good condition and likely to sell within a reasonable timeframe.
- You must be purchasing a new home from us.
- You must only have one home to sell.

Yes, developers may decline properties that are:
• Leasehold with short leases
• In poor condition
• Unlikely to sell quickly

Once the valuation has been agreed, we will help sell your home for four weeks. If your house sells, the process time can vary, depending on a range of factors. You'll be kept up to date through the process and should be given a rough idea of the time frame by your solicitor.
If your house is not sold within four weeks, we can look at reducing its value and market for another two weeks. We'll discuss the best way forward so that you don't lose out on your new home.
