Since John Bloor built our first home in 1969, we've established a reputation for building quality homes that stand the test of time. The Bloor family still own and run the business today, ensuring high standards are maintained over 50 years later.

Today, our team from planners and designers to tradespeople and customer services, brings together a wide range of skills with a shared personality trait: we care about building quality, well-designed homes we'd be proud for our own families to live in.

Every Bloor home is built to meet our own rigorous quality standards. No shortcuts. No compromise.

Our ‘Bloorisms’, a unique set of 180 quality checks, are carried out throughout the build process of every home. It’s how we make sure every home finished to our high standards; not only meeting NHBC requirements but finished with the quality of craftsmanship that we’re renowned for. 

From the hidden structure to the smallest finish, we focus crafting and perfecting every aspect of our homes. Because the quality you cannot see is what shapes how your home performs, day after day, year after year.

Maintaining the craftsmanship and quality we’re known for means being meticulous about every detail.

It’s also why we build more time into the construction of each home. Giving our tradespeople longer to complete their work properly and ensure every element is finished to our high standards. As well as allow every home the extra time it needs to dry out naturally at key stages, helping to prevent issues further down the line.

This approach means a longer build time, around 42 weeks on average, but the result is consistent quality, and homes our customers are proud to live in for years to come.
