Getting to and from Binfield

Getting into London is easy from our new homes, as Binfield is located within 1.7 miles of the M4. The nearby A329 and A332 also connect to busier nearby towns such as Ascot (14 minutes away) and Windsor (20 minutes away). 

This upcoming development is well connected to public transport with three train stations all within a 15-minute drive. These offer regular commuting services into London Waterloo, Clapham Junction and Reading, plus connecting services to other areas around the country. 

The nearest airports are also some of the country’s biggest, quickly connecting you to destinations across the globe. London Heathrow is a half-hour drive from our Binfield new homes, while London Gatwick (at 47 miles away) can be accessed via car or trains into the capital. 

Things to do in Binfield

Surrounded by rolling countryside, it’s no surprise that our new development boasts pretty scenery and woodland walks, as well as pedestrian and cycle access to open playing fields and green public spaces. Wicks Green, complete with a refurbished play area, is just one of four parks you can find near our new homes. Binfield’s Foxley Fields is also home to three all-weather tennis courts. 

The local village shop is a short 10-minute walk away, with Waitrose, Tesco and Sainsbury’s supermarkets all within a 10-minute drive. 

Binfield is home to several long-running social and leisure clubs, including Binfield Cricket and Bracknell Bowling clubs, which host regular events and fixtures. 

For family fun, the Bear Mountain Adventure Golf course is only a 4-minute drive from the new development.

Steeped in history, the popular Stag and Hounds village pub dates back to the 14th century and continues to provide a traditional pub experience.

Popular schools in Binfield

Our Binfield new homes are ideally located near a range of great schools, with many less than five-minutes’ drive away:

- Binfield Pre-School – helping prepare young children aged 2-5 for full-time education through free play and structured group learning. 

- Binfield Church of England Primary School – an Aided church primary school committed to serving the local community and providing education to children in Binfield Village, ages 4-11.

- King’s Academy – offering full education from reception age to post-16 and supporting children with special educational needs. The primary school, King’s Academy Oakwood, was rated ‘Outstanding’ in its first Ofsted inspection. 

- Bracknell and Wokingham College – located in Bracknell, this college provides a range of full-time courses, apprenticeships and SEND programmes for those aged 16 and over.

Neighbouring areas offer more education options for students of all ages: 

- Ranalagh C of E School – based in Bracknell, this secondary and sixth form school caters for students aged 11-18. It offers SEND support and extra lunchtime activity classes, from coding to gardening. 

- Luckley House – this Wokingham school offers a Christian education and boarding for students aged between 11-18 and is just a 15-minute drive from Binfield. 

- Royal Holloway University of London – providing undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The campus in Egham is 25-minutes’ drive away and offers study spaces, cafes and sport facilities for students.
