Getting to and from Congleton
Congleton train station is 6 minutes’ drive away from the development. There’s a regular service from Congleton to Manchester Piccadilly that takes about 40 minutes. Other regular routes include services to the likes of Macclesfield, Kidsgrove, Stoke-on-Trent, and Prestbury.
Our development is a also a little under 15 minutes’ drive from the M6, which goes towards Manchester – 50 minutes away – and Birmingham – a little over an hour away. You can also drive to the likes of Macclesfield, Knutsford and Crewe in under half an hour. Manchester Airport is also less than half an hour away.

We’re less than 5 minutes’ drive away from a fair few parks, including the charming Margaret’s Place and the popular Congleton Park – which boasts a recently refurbished play area, with slides, swings and a jungle gym. Then, of course, there’s Astbury Mere Country Park – which aside from its many walking routes, also features a cafe and a watersports centre. The park is known for hosting the local parkrun.
There’s also a gym – Gymetc - within walking distance of our development, being less than 5 minutes’ walk away. The gym features a sauna as well as a swimming pool.
In terms of shopping, we’re 5 minutes’ drive away from a retail park offering a broad selection of retailers, including a Tesco Superstore, an M&S Food and a B&M, with a Hartfords and a Boots also nearby.
With our development only 5 minutes’ drive from the town centre, you can also explore Congleton’s wide range of high street stores, including WH Smith, Superdrug, Card Factory, Specsavers, and Vision Express, as well as the Morrisons in town centre and a wide selection of hairdressers.
Congleton is also known for its weekly market, that occurs every Tuesday and Saturday, with everything from clothing and pet supplies to fresh vegetables and meat straight from the butchers available to buy.
There’s also the Congleton Maker’s Market that takes place on the last Saturday of the month, where you can get a true sense of the town’s local arts and crafts scene.
