Does Bloor Homes offer an Armed Forces incentive?

We’re offering Britain’s Armed Forces and MOD Personnel an incentive to help them get their feet on the property ladder. As a valued member of the Armed Forces you can take advantage of the following contribution package when purchasing a new Bloor Home on one of our participating developments*:

What contribution can I receive towards a new home?

A £500 contribution will be offered for every £25,000 of the property value, up to a maximum £6,000 contribution, meaning your new Bloor home can be even more budget friendly. You can use this contribution as a discount off your new home, a deposit contribution or an options voucher, subject to the approval of your mortgage lender.

An example breakdown of how the contribution works

• Purchase a new Bloor home for £250,000

• £250,000 ÷ £25,000 = 10

• 10 x £500 = A contribution from us of £5,000

*HM Forces Members are entitled to £500 contribution for every £25,000 spent on the price of a new Bloor Homes property, up to a maximum £6,000 contribution. This offer is available to the following HM Forces Members where they have completed their basic (phase 1) training: Regular Service Personnel (including Military Provost Guard Service, in the Navy, Army and Air Force). Ex-Regular service personnel who have served in the Armed Forces for a minimum of 6 years, can produce a Discharge Certificate (or similar documentation) as proof, where they apply within 12 months of the date of the discharge from service. MOD Police Officers. Clinical staff (with the exception of doctors and dentists). Uniformed staff in the Defence Fire Service. The surviving partners of Regular service personnel who have died in service, where they apply within 12 months of the date of being bereaved. Evidence of eligibility under this scheme must be provided. Customers must disclose their intention of claiming this package at the time of reserving a property. The offer contained in this package:

• Cannot be used in conjunction with other selected offers or schemes.

• Is only available at selected developments and on selected plots.

• Is available on residential mortgages only and is not available on buy to let properties.

• Is subject to contract.

Buyers must be over 18 years of age. If contracts are not exchanged by the specific Reservation Expiry Date specified on your Reservation Agreement Form, then Bloor Homes reserves the right to cancel the reservation. In this case Bloor Homes agrees to pay back the reservation fee and prepayments less any reasonable administrative and other costs incurred in processing and holding the reservation.
