Getting to and from Evesham

Evesham is located along several cross-country A-roads, with roads connecting to Worcester, Cheltenham, and Stratford-upon-Avon.

We're about a 12-minute drive from Evesham Train Station, with a number of direct services running from Evesham to London Paddington, getting you into the capital in a little under 2 hours.

Other trains from Evesham include services to Worcester, Hereford and Great Malvern.

We're also conveniently located just a 7-minute drive from Evesham's main bus station, where you can catch services to the likes of Twyford, Pershore and Greenhill.

Things to do in Evesham

We're situated near the River Avon and just 5 minutes' drive away from Crown Meadow and Abbey Park – a large green space, home to the Evesham Leisure Centre which, itself, offers two swimming pools and an excellent gym.

The park also provides visitors with a play park as well as a walking field for dog owners to take advantage of.

We're just 3 minutes' drive from Four Pools Retail Park, which boasts a number of retailers, including The Range, TK Maxx and Halfords.

We're also 3 minutes' drive from Springfield Drive Retail Park, which has names like B&Q, Morrisons and Currys amongst its roster of outlets, and 5 minutes' drive from Evesham town centre, which offers frequent weekend markets and a local Waitrose.

Popular schools in Evesham

There are two local nurseries within a 3-minute drive or a 20-minute walk of the development: Busy Bees at Evesham and Bright Kids Evesham. As for primary and secondary education, Evesham operates under a 3-school system, incorporating 'First', 'Middle', and 'High' schools in place of Primary and Secondary academies.

There are several primary schools within a few minutes' drive of our development, these include:

• St Richards CE First School - Situated 4 minutes' drive away, St Richard's is a school for children between the ages of 5 and 10.
• St Andrew's CE First School - St Andrew's is 6 minutes' drive away and caters for children between the ages of 4 and 10.
• Swan Lane First School - Swan Lane is 8 minutes' drive away and also accepts children between the ages of 4 and 10.
• St Mary's Catholic School - is also an 8-minute drive away and caters for children ages 5-11.

There are also a couple of middle schools in Evesham, both of which take on students between the age of 10 and 13. These are:

• St Egwin's C.E. Middle School - a 9-minute drive away.
• Blackminster Middle School - also 9 minutes away.

• De Montfort High School - which is 5 minutes' drive away and accepts children between the ages of 10 and 18.
• Prince Henry's High School - 9 minutes' drive away. Prince Henry's caters for children ages 13-18.
• Vale Evesham Academy – An option for children with special educational needs and disabilities, Vale Evesham is an all-school that supports children all the way from the age of 2 until they're 19.

Living in Evesham

A pleasant town near Gloucester, Evesham is a rural gem surrounded by countryside and walking routes.

Just 20 minutes' drive from the Cotswolds, Evesham Gate's attractive location makes it a highly desirable place to live.

We're just 5 minutes' drive from Badsey Lane Nature Reserve and 6 minutes away from Eoves Wood National Forest.

There's also All Things Wild – a popular zoo and dinosaur trail – about 12 minutes' drive away

The Regal Cinema is about 7 minutes' drive from our new homes, and the Henrician Theatre is about 10 minutes' drive away.

There's also a mini golf course – Aztec Adventure – about 8 minutes' drive away.

Evesham is also known for its fantastic festivals, with both the Evesham Food and Music Festival and the local Walking Festival taking place during the summer months.
