Getting to and from Lower Stondon
Poppy Fields is located close to the A600, with Bedford being 22 minutes away by car. It’s also a 24-minute drive to Luton, where you can merge on the M1 and head southbound to London or northbound to Birmingham.
The A1, a 13-minute drive away, also provides a direct route to London.
There’s a bus stop about 4 minutes' walk from our development, which offers services to Bedford and Stevenage.
There’s also a train station – Arlesey Station – a little under 10 minutes’ drive away which offers a direct train to London Kings Cross, getting you into the capital in about 45 minutes. The station also operates regular services to Peterborough too.
London’s Luton Airport is about a 23-minute drive away via the A505.

There’s also the Queen Mother Theatre, 11 minutes’ drive away, as well as the Standalone Farm, with its popular petting farm, 13 minutes’ drive away.
