Our new homes in Stafford are less than 10 minutes’ drive from Stafford Train Station, with regular trains running from Stafford to London Euston, with the Avanti West Coast service getting you into the capital in as little as an hour and half.

Other regular services include trains to the likes of Manchester Piccadilly (via Stoke) and Edinburgh (via Wigan).

The development is also within walking distance of the Main Gate bus stop, from which you can catch either the 11 or 11a bus into Stafford’s town centre.

In terms of air travel, both East Midlands Airport and Birmingham International Airport are less than an hour’s drive away from Sandon Park.

Things to do in Stafford

Stafford has a rich cultural scene, with its Shakespeare Festival – which takes place annually at Stafford Castle – drawing several big names to the town.

Stafford’s Gatehouse Theatre also puts on some brilliant shows throughout the year, and there’s always a good gig to catch at the Met Studio.

Aside from its theatres and event venues, Stafford also has a 9-hole golf course, a tenpin bowling alley and an Odeon cinema.

In terms of green spaces, Victoria Park lies at the heart of the town and features a café, an aviary and several scenic parks, as well as a children’s play area.

• Beaconsfield Primary School – is about 16 minutes’ drive from our development and accepts children between the ages of 5 and 11 but also offers a nursery option for parents who are interested.
• Tillington Manor Primary School - is around 13 minutes’ drive from our development and caters for children between the ages of 4 and 11.
• St Patrick’s Catholic Primary School – A Roman Catholic school and nursery, St Patrick’s is about 9 minutes’ drive from our development and is open to children between the ages of 3 and 11.
• John Wheeldon Primary Academy – Situated about 9 minutes’ drive away from our development, John Wheeldon is a 125-year-old primary school that accepts children between the ages of 5 and 11.

Then, in terms of secondary schools, there’s:

• Sir Graham Balfour High School – which is about 15 minutes’ drive from our development. Named after the famous Victorian statistician, this secondary school also offers a sixth form option.
• The Weston Road Academy – is only 11 minutes’ drive from our development and caters for children between the ages of 11 and 18.
• Stafford Manor High School – is about 17 minutes’ drive from our development and accepts children between the ages of 11 and 18.

It should also be noted that both Staffordshire University and Keele University are within 35 minutes’ drive of our development.

Living in Stafford

Our new homes in Stafford are situated near the heart of the community, with a number of pubs less than 10 minutes’ drive from our development, the nearest of which being The Shire House, about 6 minutes’ drive away.

There are also several restaurants nearby, including The Tap & Spile – about 3 minutes’ drive away, and The Riverbank Restaurant – about 7 minutes’ drive away.

We’re situated just 6 minutes’ drive from a Pure Gym, and you’ll find a swimming pool at the local Stafford Leisure Centre – about 7 minutes’ drive from our development.

We’re within 7 minutes’ drive of both a Sainsbury’s and an Asda Superstore, and there’s a Tesco Extra about 9 minutes’ drive away.
