Getting to and from Warrington

Warrington is a well-connected town with three different motorways passing through the town: the M6 – which goes towards Preston and Stoke, the M56 – which goes to Manchester, and the M62 to Liverpool. 

Both Manchester and Liverpool are about half an hour’s drive from Warrington, and, from the Warrington Interchange, you catch several regular bus services to either major city as well as to the likes of Altrincham, Hatton, Northwich, and Widnes. 

Our development is within a mile of two train stations; Warrington West and Sankey, with both stations situated on the Manchester to Liverpool line. Apart from services to Manchester Oxford Road and Liverpool Lime Street, there  are also several services a day to the likes of Warrington Central and Hough Green. 

Things to do in Warrington

Our central location means that we’re only 5 minutes’ drive from  The Great Sankey Neighbourhood Hub. With its wide array of amenities, including a library, a gym and a swimming pool, the hub is an ideal facility to have on your doorstep.

There are also several parks within 20 minutes’ walk of our development, including the Mary Ann Meadows Recreation Ground and Whittle Hall Park. 

There’s a Lidl, Costa and McDonald’s all situated on site at our development, and we’re just about 4 minutes’ drive from an Asda and 5 minutes’ drive from a Sainsbury’s. 

We’re also just a 5-minute drive from Gemini Retail Park, which counts amongst its many shops, the likes of Ikea and M&S. 

We're also 10 minutes’ drive away from the popular Golden Square and Time Square shopping centres, with their wide range of shops, restaurants and leisure facilities. In recent years, this retail district has received significant investment, with about £142 million invested into providing locals with a broader retail offering.

There are several primary schools within a short drive of our development, including: 

•  Barrow Hall Primary School – Just 4 minutes’ drive from our development, Barrow Hall caters for children aged 4-11. 
•  Park Road Community Primary School - Situated 6 minutes’ drive away from our development, Park Road is an excellent primary school and accepts children between the ages of 5 and 11. 
• Sankey Valley St James Primary School - Offering a nursery option as well, Sankey Valley accepts children as young as 2 up until the age of 11. The school is just 7 minutes from our development. 
  There are a fair few secondary schools within easy reach of our development too. These include: 
•  Great Sankey High School - A secondary school that also offers a sixth form option, Great Sankey is 5 minutes’ drive away and caters to children ages 11-18. 
• St Gregory’s Catholic High School – St Gregory’s caters for children between the ages of 11 and 16 and is situated 6 minutes' drive from our development.
•  Penketh High School - Penketh High School is 8 minutes’ drive from our development and accepts children between the ages of 11 and 16.

Living in Warrington

At Holly Grange, you’ll be less than 15 minutes’ drive away from several entertainment options, including an ODEON cinema – 3 minutes’ drive away, an escape room, and a bowling alley. 

If you’re into your board games, there’s also the Geek Retreat  board game cafe in the town centre!  

And about 9 minutes’ drive away, you’ll find The Fiddlers Ferry Golf Club.
