The Brambles is located in the picturesque and peaceful village of Long Lawford whilst providing easy access to the A428 and Rugby, providing commuters with direct links to the major road and rail networks. 

What transport links are near The Brambles

The development is situated less than 3 miles away from the market town of Rugby town centre and can be reached in less than 10 minutes by car or in approximately 16 minutes by bus which run regular direct services into town.

For journeys further afield, Rugby train station is 3.4 miles away with direct services to Coventry, Milton Keynes, Birmingham and London - in just 50 minutes. The A45/M45 is conveniently located 6 miles from Long Lawford providing quick and easy access to the rest of the Midlands and the M1 for access to London, Milton Keynes, Leicester and Nottingham. If you are travelling North the M6 is located with 5 miles. 

What is there to do in Rugby?

From major high street stores to smaller, independent shops, Rugby offers a great shopping experience. There are several retail parks including Elliott's Field where flagship retail stores include Marks and Spencer, Next, Dunelm and TK Maxx. There's also a family-friendly restaurant area complete with outdoor seating and a children's play area overlooking the River Swift and parking is free of charge. You will find a host of coffee shops, pubs and restaurants in the town centre along with a cinema and a theatre and art gallery and museum. The Rugby Football Museum is also worth a visit and is housed opposite the renowned Rugby School in the original building where James Gilbert, boot and shoemaker, made the first rugby footballs in 1842.

 

What school are in the Long Lawford catchment area?

When it comes to education, Rugby offers an excellent range of 'Good' and 'Outstanding' rated Ofsted schools, for primary and secondary children. Long Lawford Primary School which also offers pre - school is located in the village with Henry Hinde Infant and Junior Schools a short drive away.

Older students have an excellent choice of secondary schools to choose from all within a few miles of The Brambles these include The Bilton School and Avon Valley School & Performing Arts College,  both of which have been rated "Good" by Ofsted.

For further education just a short drive into Rugby Town Centre you will find Rugby College (Part of the WCG) which specialises in Engineering, Advanced Machining and Robotics.
