Getting to and from Yeovil
A network of A-roads runs through Yeovil, providing convenient access to the A303 – a key route for travel towards London, as well as to Exeter and the wider South West.
There's also a bus stop close to our development, that offers regular services to both Yeovil Hospital and Yeovil Bus Station. You can also catch the 376 which will take you to Somerton, Glastonbury and Bristol.
Both Yeovil Junction and Yeovil Pen Mill train stations are within 10 minutes’ drive of our development, with the service to Bath Spa taking around 1 hour 10 minutes, the Exeter St Davids service taking around 1 hour 30 minutes, the Bristol Temple Meads service taking a little under 2 hours, and the London Waterloo taking a little under 3 hours.
Things to do in Yeovil
Those living in our new homes in Yeovil will benefit from easily accessible green spaces, including an on-site village green with a children’s play area.
There's also a Tesco Express nearby, with Yeovil also offering an Asda, an Aldi and a Lidl.
In terms of local gyms, the Bucklers Mead Leisure Centre is within walking distance of our new builds, and you’ll find swimming pools in Yeovil town centre, including those found at Goldenstones Leisure Centre and Nuffield Health, both within 10-minutes' drive of our development.
In the town centre, you’ll also find the Quedam Shopping Centre, as well as a library and several churches.
Both Oaklands GP Surgery and Yeovil District Hospital (which includes an A&E department) are within 5 minutes’ drive of our development too.

There are a number of nurseries and primary schools within 15 minutes’ drive of our development. These include:
• Birchfield Primary – Only 15 minutes’ walk away from our development, this primary school caters for children between the ages of 4 and 11.
• Pen Mill Nursery & Infant School – With a focus on foundational literacy and numeracy skills, this nursery and infant school is less than 5 minutes’ drive from our development and welcomes children between the ages of 3 and 11.
• St Michael’s Academy – Situated 5 minutes’ drive away, in the town centre, this academy supports children between the ages of 7 and 11 via a broad and engaging curriculum.
• Milford Infant & Junior School – Also less than 5 minutes’ drive away, the Milford Infant & Junior School caters for children ages 4-11.
• Primrose Lane Primary – Accepting children as young as 2 (thanks to its nursery provision) up until they turn 11, Primrose Lane is an excellent choice for families with the school less than 5 minutes’ drive from our development D
For older students, Yeovil and the surrounding area provide several strong choices, with options to support progression into higher education.
• Buckler’s Mead Academy – Providing students aged 11-16 with a broad curriculum across technology, humanities and core subjects, as well as SEND support, this school is conveniently located within a 10-minute walk of our development.
• Westfield Academy – A strong local option for students aged 11-16, this academy offers a comprehensive curriculum with an emphasis on science and is less than 10 minutes’ drive from our development.
• Preston School – Preston School is a local academy with a specialist focus on business and enterprise. Located in the Monks Dale neighbourhood, it’s around 10 minutes’ drive from our development.
Further education options are also available, for those 16 years and older, at the Yeovil College and its University Centre. Situated near the town centre, the college is within 5 minutes’ drive of our development and offers a range of academic, vocational and technical courses, including BTECs, apprenticeships and degree programmes in partnership with universities.
Living in Yeovil
At Yeovil’s town centre, about 10 minutes’ drive from our development, you’ll find a whole host of high street shops as well as the popular Quedam Shopping Centre.
There’s also the Yeovil Recreation Centre, about 5 minutes’ drive away, which has a number of tennis courts, football pitches, a children’s play area, and an on-site café.
In town, you’ll also find both the Ninesprings and the Yeovil Country Parks – providing ample opportunities for hiking and wildlife spotting.
The Dorset coast lies just beyond the town, with a beach within an hour’s drive of our development.
