Getting to and from Widnes
Situated just 15 minutes from Warrington, 30 minutes from Liverpool and 40 minutes from Manchester, our development’s proximity to the major northern towns makes it an ideal one to commute from.Aspen Brook is also a mere 6-minute drive from Widnes main train station. Routes offered include trains to the likes of Liverpool, Warrington, Nottingham, and Norwich
There is a bus stop within walking distance of our new homes, just over 5 minutes’ walk away. From here, you can catch buses to the town centre as well as other services to the likes of Warrington, Woolston and Burtonwood.
Our development is also a short drive away from a couple of major airports, being only a 20-minute drive away Liverpool John Lennon Airport and a 30-minute drive from Manchester Airport.
Things to do in Widnes
There’s an Aldi a 3-minute drive from our development, a Co-op a 4-minute drive away, as well as a Tesco, Sainsbury’s and an M&S all within 10 minutes’ drive of our development.
The town also has several larger shopping centres, namely Green Oaks, Albert Square and Widnes Shopping Park – none of which are too far from our development and all of which offer ample parking.
There’s also a weekly market, the Widnes Market, that’s been running since the 1800s.
In terms of keeping active, there’s TransFIT Widness, a popular gym about 7 minutes’ drive from our development.
Kingsway Leisure Centre – situated 10-minutes from our development – offers patrons a number of swimming pools, squash courts and excellent table tennis facilities to make use of.

- Moorfield Primary School is a primary school that caters to children ages 4 to 11. Just a 3-minute drive from our development, this school offers a diverse selection of extracurricular clubs, including Lego Club, Craft Club and Drama.
- Fairfield Primary School, just 5 minutes’ drive from our development, is another great choice for kids ages 4 to 11. The school places a strong focus on community, encouraging its students to get involved in activities that help develop their leadership skills.
- Wade Deacon High School is a secondary school, 7 minutes’ drive from our development, that caters to children ages 11 to 16. Our development is situated minutes away from expansive woodland and all kinds of wildlife, being just 3 minutes’ drive from Sunnybank Woodland Park and a 15 minutes’ drive from Knowsley Safari Park - a safari park home to a diverse array of creatures including yaks, white rhinos, ostriches, and baboons.
For families with young children, there’s also Crow Wood Park Playground, a 4-minute drive away.
