Getting to and from Great Witley

Our new homes at Adelaide Gardens are situated just off Stourport Road on the A451 – connecting the development to Stourport on Severn and the rest of Worcestershire. The A443 is also within a few minutes’ drive of our development, connecting Adelaide Gardens to Worcester and its surrounding countryside.

We’re only 15 minutes’ drive from Hartlebury railway station, which offers regular services to the likes of Worcester and Birmingham. 

For services to London - as well as to the likes of Solihull, Hereford and Stratford-upon-Avon - both Droitwich Spa railway station and Kidderminster railway station are nearby too, with both being about 20 minutes’ drive away. 

There are also several bus services that run through Great Witley, connecting the village to nearby Worcester, and Birmingham Airport is less than an hour’s drive away.

Things to do in Great Witley

Adelaide Gardens will feature a dedicated play area, open green space and a beautifully planted wildflower meadow, with footpaths linking residents to nearby parks, fields and walking routes.

For day-to-day essentials, an Asda Express on Worcester Road is just two minutes away, while larger supermarkets including Lidl and Tesco can both be reached in under 15 minutes. The village also has its own local convenience store as well as a post office.

We are just five minutes from The Elms Hotel & Spa, which offers a gym, spa facilities and a restaurant within a peaceful country setting. Nearby, The Manor at Abberley is recognised for its culinary excellence and is a popular spot for special occasions.

There are also several healthcare facilities within easy reach of our new homes, including the village Great Witley GP surgery, the Mercian House Dental Practice in Stourport on Severn and Worcestershire Royal Hospital around 30 minutes away in Worcester.

Living in Great Witley

Life in Great Witley offers a peaceful village setting surrounded by countryside, heritage and a wealth of places to explore. Nearby English Heritage site Witley Court & Gardens provides magnificent ruins, landscaped grounds and scenic walks, while trails across Walsgrove Hill and Abberley Ridge lead to far-reaching views and the historic Abberley Clock Tower. For more adventurous outdoor days, the Malvern Hills National Landscape is within easy reach of our new homes, offering miles of walking routes and panoramic scenery.

The area around Great Witley also boasts several popular food and drink spots. Enjoy relaxed all-day dining at The Crown at Martley or The Holt Fleet, while Broomfield’s of Holt Farm Kitchen is a popular choice for brunch, coffee and afternoon tea, and all are within around ten minutes of our new builds.

Offering a wider choice of leisure and entertainment, Stourport on Severn is nearby and provides opportunities for riverside dining, a variety of shops amusement parks, like the Treasure Island Amusement Park, with its rides and boat trips. Stourport’s high street, which is just a 20-minute drive from our development, is also home to familiar names, independent boutiques and charity shops.

We’re also only 20 minutes away from a number of family friendly attractions, including Little Owl Farm Park, West Midlands Safari Park and the Wyre Forest National Nature Reserve, with the city of Worcester, and all the cosmopolitan attractions it has to offer, about half an hour’s drive away.
