Getting to and from Wimborne
Conveniently situated just 3 miles from the M27, Wimborne Chase is an ideal development to commute to and from.
Poole is just 12 minutes’ drive away while Bournemouth is a 25-minute drive and Dorchester is about half an hour away.
The nearest train station is in Poole. It takes about 20 minutes to drive from our development to the station and there are hourly services to London Waterloo, which takes a little over 2 hours to get to, as well as services to Weymouth and Bournemouth (from where you can change for services to Manchester Piccadilly, Basingstoke and Winchester).
There’s also a bus stop about 10 minutes’ walk from our development, where you can catch the number 3 or 3x bus to Poole.

Our new homes in Wimborne are just a 13-minute walk from WOW Ladies Fitness - a women’s fitness centre. There’s also the Ferndown Leisure Centre, a 14-minute drive away, which offers swimming pools, trampolines and gymnasiums.
Nearby hiking routes include the Castleman Trailway - a 7-minute drive away, as well as a hiking route alongside the Cannon Hill Plantation - a 9-minute drive away.
Then there’s the Holt Heath Nature Reserve - an 11-minute drive away, and the King Down Drove - a 9-minute drive away in Cranborne Chase.
Wimborne also has its fair share of sports clubs, conveniently all within 1.5 miles of our development. These include the Wimborne Cricket Club, the Wimborne Rugby Club, the Wimborne Town Football Club, the Wimborne Tennis Club, and the Wimborne Bowls Club.

Nearby Allendale Community Centre hosts the weekly Wimborne Market. Just 13 minutes’ walk away from our development, it’s a lovely place to visit for your fresh produce.
Speaking of shops, Wimborne Town Centre is home to a number of independent clothing stores including Seasalt Cornwall, Phase Eight, and Crew Clothing.
