Places to visit
Explore Astbury Mere, take a stroll around the lake, have a picnic on the private beach, or join the weekly Park run! Glebe farm is just down the road from Astbury Mere. They offer the most amazing afternoon teas and Cheshire Ice cream as well as selling local produce. If you have little ones, they will enjoy the petting farm where they can feed alpacas, goats, sheep and ponies and have a tractor ride. Just off the town centre, the award winning Victorian Congleton park can be found. Complete with ornamental gardens, childrens play area, river walks and the Pavilion café. It really is well worth a visit!

Just under 10 miles away is Macclesfield Town Centre, largest than Congleton, with a number of well known branded shops! Manchester city centre is just under an hour away in the car and 45 minutes on the train, enjoy a spot of retail therapy, a great night out in one of the famous bars and restaurants or visit to one of the many museums.
