Getting to and from Cheadle
Our development is just 5 minutes’ drive from Heald Green station, which is one stop away from Manchester Airport. The same route, in the other direction, takes you to Manchester Piccadilly, getting you to Manchester City Centre in as little as 22 minutes.
It takes about 9 minutes to drive from our development to Manchester Airport, and we’re also 9 minutes away from the access point to both the M56 and the M60 – with the M56 connecting you to the likes of Runcorn and Chester - both a little over half an hour away - and the M60, connecting you to Manchester city centre - also about a half an hour away – as well as Leeds and Liverpool – about an hour away.
Things to do in Cheadle
Foxcote is situated right next to the football fields on Bradshaw Hall Lane and is within walking distance of East Avenue Park – 6 minutes’ walk away - with its basketball court and its expansive playground.
There’s a David Lloyd gym, 6 minutes’ drive away, which offers both indoor and outdoor tennis courts as well as two swimming pools and a spa.
We’re also within easy reach of a couple of retail parks, including Earl Road – a 4-minute drive away. Retailers at Earl Road include the likes of TK Maxx, Homesense, Cheshire Beds, and B&Q. There’s also a retail park at Handforth Dean – 6 minutes’ drive away – which boasts a Tesco and a Marks & Spencer outlet as well as retailers like Next and Pets at Home.
The Trafford Centre – the UK’s third largest indoor shopping centre – is about 18 minutes’ drive away, with the shopping centre hosting the likes of River Island, JD Sports, H&M, Boss, The North Face, amongst other well-known high street brands.
We’re also about 5 minutes’ drive from both Sainsbury’s and Co-op.
Popular schools in Cheadle
We’re within walking distance of a number of primary schools, including:
● Etchells Primary School - 7 minutes’ walk from our development, Etchells caters for children ages 3-11.
● Outwood Primary School - Also catering for children between the ages of 3 and 11, Outwood is an 11-minute walk away.
● Bradshaw Hall Primary School – 5 minutes’ drive from our development, this primary school accepts children between the ages of 3 and 11.
In terms of secondary schools, there’s:
● St James Catholic High School - A denominational school offering a sixth form option. The school is 7 minutes’ drive away and caters for children ages 11-18.
● Cheadle Hulme High School - An independent school, Cheadle Hulme is 10 minutes’ drive away and also offers a sixth form option. The school accepts children between the ages of 11 and 18.
Apart from the numerous schools nearby, there’s also Cheadle College - within 10 minutes' drive of our development - which provides vocational courses, T-levels, and A-levels, as well as adult education for subjects such as Greek, Yoga, and Sewing.
Living in Cheadle
Our new homes are within 10 minutes’ drive of a couple of golf clubs, namely the Bramhall Park and Bramhall Golf Clubs. Keen anglers can also join the Cheadle Angling Club, 8 minutes’ drive away.
Our development is also within 3 miles of several nature reserves, including the Cheadle Nature Woods, Carr Wood, Wright’s Wood, and the Happy Valley Nature Reserve.
There’s an independent cinema – The Block – in nearby Wythenshawe, which is only 10 minutes’ drive away, and there’s the Heald Green Theatre Company, 8 minutes away.
