Transport in Luton

Luton Point is the main shopping destination in Luton’s town centre. This indoor mall hosts over 120 shops, including Boots, Pandora, Primark, TK Maxx, and Clarks. For a larger shopping experience, Luton is located 50 minutes’ drive away from Westfield London, one of the largest shopping centres in Europe, where you can browse clothes, accessories, gifts and luxury brands.  

Things to do in Luton

Luton has access to a number of outdoor activities close to home. The most notable of these is Whipsnade Zoo, the largest zoo in the UK, which is located a 20-minute drive away from Luton town centre and Woburn Safari Park, half an hour away. You can also birdwatch nearby at the Dunstable Downs, or challenge yourself to a hike up Ivinghoe Beacon and Coombe Hill. As for heritage trips, the ruins of Someries Castle are located just outside Luton to the southeast, while English Heritage operates sites at the De Grey Mausoleum and Houghton House. You’re also close to many of London’s attractions, such as the Warner Bros Studio Tour in Watford and LEGOLAND Windsor Resort.

As for the village itself, it’s located in a quiet stretch of countryside between Luton and Milton Keynes, with several nature reserves, fisheries, and golf clubs nearby.
