Getting to and from Worcester
Worcester's city centre is only 12 minutes' drive from our new development and there are several A-roads and the M5 leading out of Worcester, connecting Elgar Park to Birmingham, Kidderminster, Leominster, Ledbury, Tewkesbury, and Bromsgrove – all less than an hour away by car.
The nearest train station is Worcester Foregate Street – 12 minutes' drive from our development.
From Worcester Foregate Street, you can catch regular trains to the likes of Birmingham New Street, Dorridge, Hereford, Great Malvern, and London Paddington – a little under 3 hours by train.
Things to do in Worcester
Worcester is home to several public parks, including The Pitchcroft, Laugherne Brook and Gheluvelt Park.
Laugherne Brook is just a 10-minute drive from our development. The park is a nature reserve, offering a scenic walking route for avid hikers to explore.
Gheluvelt Park is especially popular during the summer months thanks to its splash pad. The park also features a duck pond and a war memorial, and is about a half an hour drive from our development.
The Pitchcroft is also about 30 minutes away and offers a large athletics track as well as an outdoor cinema.
Worcester's proximity to the River Severn has led to the development of several watersports social clubs – these include the Worcester Rowing Club and the Worcester Canoe Club – both of which are less than 10 minutes' drive from our development.
The town's main shopping district can be found in Crowngate – which helpfully also has a public car park – about a 7-minute drive from home.
The Crowngate Shopping Centre is home to a wide range of outlets and independent retailers, including Flowers of Worcester, Little Italy, New Look, Primark, and Warren James, with several restaurants also on site too.
Crowngate is also home to a House of Fraser department store.
For your grocery needs, there's a Tesco Express just 7 minutes' walk away from our development. There are also several supermarkets within 2 miles of your new home, including Sainsbury's and Marks and Spencer.

Living in Worcester
As a largely rural city, situated by the river, Worcester is one of the prettier cities in the area.
Worcester has several golf courses with Worcester Golf and Country Club, Worcester Golf Range and Bransford Golf Club all within a 15-minute drive of our development.
The city also has a couple of nature reserve operated by the Worcestershire Wildlife Trust, including the Knapp and Papermill Nature Reserve and the Crews Hill Wood Nature Reserve.
In terms of museums, popular spots include the Infirmary Museum, the Worcestershire Yeomanry Museum, the Worcester City Art Gallery, the Mercian Regiment Museum, and the Tudor House Museum.
Worcester also has a bowling alley, an escape rooms location, as well as various crazy golf parks, including Mulligans and Jungle Safari.
