Things to do in Crowmarsh Girfford

Crowmarsh Gifford is a quaint village with an open swimming pool located in the river, for all those hot summer days. As well as its traditional village qualities it holds varied weekly markets 3 days a week as well as local independent and chain retailers. The nearest larger supermarket is Waitrose (0.9 miles), with other larger ones such as Sainsbury’s (5.4 miles) or Tesco (5 miles) towards the area of Didcot.

The town of Wallingford is just a stone’s throw away from the development and has all your amenities and day to day activities covered. There is a marketplace with a selection of high street stores as well as local independently owned retailers, boutiques, stunning churches, restaurants and leisure for the whole family to enjoy. 

You can meander alongside the River Thames, soak in the stunning scenery from the Wallingford bridge and enjoy relaxing waterfront views, tons of sporting activities from the Wallingford Rowing club. Transport in and around Crowmarsh Girfford

Crowmarsh Gifford is bypassed by the A4074 Reading to Oxford road and the A4130, though the M40 is only ten miles away. Cholsey station, just ten minutes’ drive away, offers services to Reading and Oxford in around 20 minutes, and direct to London Paddington in under 90 minutes. A little further out, Didcot Parkway Station is just 45 minutes from London Paddington. Making it the perfect commutable town. 

Schools and education in Crowmarsh Girfford
