Detailed planning permission has been granted to build a total of 230 homes on 12.5 hectares land off Leicester Road as part of phase two of the Eden Park development.

The Gateway Rugby site as a whole covers 125.3 hectares of land located to the north of the Town of Rugby.

Eden Park will include a range of houses and apartments from one, two, three, four and five-bedroom properties, where 20 of them will be provided as affordable housing.

Paul Degg, Regional Managing Director at Bloor Homes Midlands, said: “We are pleased to have received planning permission from the Rugby Borough Council for the second phase of our Eden Park development and we look forward to starting work on site in July.

“Eden Park provides the best of both worlds for residents wanting to live in a peaceful semi-rural setting and enjoy the amenities of Rugby.

“Our development is ideal for commuters with its perfect location boasting excellent transport links via both rail and road, conveniently positioned with an easy access to the M6, M1 and M45 motorways. In addition, London is only a 50-minute journey away by train and there are also direct routes to Northampton, Leicester and Coventry.

“We are proud to be delivering 116 carefully designed new homes at the development, which will cater for a range of lifestyles, from first time buyers to growing families and downsizers.

“Our sales office is due to open Autumn 2017 to allow prospective buyers to register their interest.”
