Getting to and from Grantham
With easy access to the A52, those living in our new homes in Grantham will benefit from a direct route to the likes of Boston, Skegness and Nottingham (less than an hour’s drive away). The A1 is similarly close, offering straightforward routes to both Brampton and Newark-on-Trent.
Grantham Railway Station is a 4-minute drive away, with regular services to Nottingham (35 minutes by train), Leeds (1 hour) and London Kings Cross (1 hour, 15 minutes) being offered.
There’s also a bus stop nearby, about an 8-minute walk from our development, at the Prince William Barracks. From here, you can catch buses to Grantham’s town centre as well as into Stamford.

Our new homes in Grantham are about a 20-minute walk from Dysart Park – a park boasting a tennis court, a bandstand and a children’s play area. There’s also the Hills and Hollows Wildlife Park a 5-minute drive away and the Alma Park and Londonthorpe Woodlands a 7-minute drive away.In terms of local gyms, PureGym Grantham is a 6-minute drive away and aUK is a 5 minutes’ drive away. Other local gyms include Equilibrium - 6 minutes away, and Choices Health Club – 7 minutes away.
For families with little ones, there’s Imagination Town – a 6-minute drive away, and Fun Farm soft play – 8 minutes away. There’s also a splash park in Wyndham – a 6-minute drive away.
Our development also sits within 2 miles of several supermarkets, including Morrisons, Iceland, Asda, Lidl, and Farmfoods.
In terms of your non-grocery needs, Grantham’s 2 major shopping centres are The George and Issac Newton – both being within an 8-minute drive of our development.
Grantham has several excellent schools. These include:

- Walton Academy – a comprehensive secondary school just 7 minutes from our development. The school caters to children ages 11-18.
- West Grantham CE Academy – a Church of England secondary school catering to children ages 11-16. The school is situated an 8-minute drive away.
- Priory Ruskin Academy – Catering to children ages 11-19, Priory Ruskin is also 8-minutes' drive away.
- Grantham College – A great option for school leavers, Grantham College is just a 4-minute drive from our development and offers a wide array of courses, including everything from Animal Husbandry to Engineering & Manufacturing.
Aside from Grantham’s many schools, there are also several nurseries within a 5-minute drive of our development, including Headstart, Ashbourne, Beacon Lane, and Stepping Stones.
Somerby View is located within 8 minutes’ drive of the stunning Boothby Wildland and about 17-minutes from the expansive George Henry Wood, with Somerby View, itself, being surrounded by beautiful greenery.
An area steeped in history, the birthplace of Sir Isaac Newton - Woolsthorpe Manor – is also close by, being a 12-minute drive away.
