Getting to and from Winslow
Our new homes in Winslow are situated just 5 minutes’ drive from an A421 access point, which is the main throughway between Buckingham and Milton Keynes – with Buckingham only 11 minutes’ drive away and Milton Keynes about 19 minutes away.
From Milton Keynes you can catch trains to London, Birmingham and Crewe, although it should be noted that a station is currently under development in Winslow and is expected to be completed by late 2025. The station will also offer direct services to London as well as to places like Bedford, Oxford and Reading.
There’s a bus stop about 7 minutes’ walk from our development, on Station Road, from where you can catch the 60 or the X60 bus to Buckingham High Street.
Things to do in Winslow
Winslow Park is situated just minutes away from the town's High Street, with the Farm Deli, Co op, Londis, Lulu’s Pet Pantry and Unique Pets less than 15 minutes’ walk from our development.
We’re also about 15 minutes’ walk from Tomkins Park and Arboretum – a dog-friendly expansive green space with its own bowling green.
There’s a PureGym about 10 minutes’ drive away, in nearby Buckingham, and several sports clubs you can get involved in in Winslow itself, with the town having its own bowls and cycling clubs.

There are a number of schools in the local area, including an all-through special school for students who struggle in educational settings.
Great Horwood Church of England Primary School – Located about 3 minutes’ drive from our development, this village school caters for children aged 3-11 and also has an on-suite nursery.
● Winslow Church of England School - Situated about 3 minutes’ drive from our development, this C of E primary school also has an on-site nursery and caters for children ages 3-11.
● Sir Thomas Fremantle Secondary School - Situated within walking distance of our development, about 9 minutes’ walk away, Sir Thomas accepts children between the ages of 11 and 16 and offers the Combined Cadet Force programme.
● Furze Down School - Is an all through school that supports children, from the age of 4 until they’re 19, with special education needs and disabilities. The school is about 3 minutes’ drive away.
The University of Buckingham is also less than 15 minutes’ drive from our development.

At Winslow Park, we enjoy easy access to some beautiful ponds, with both the G Neal Fisheries and the Church Hill Fishery within 12 minutes’ drive of our development – ideal for any avid anglers.
We’re also about 20 minutes’ drive from the Calvery Jubilee Nature Reserve.
Our proximity to Buckingham means we’re only 10 minutes’ drive away from several National Trust Sites, including Claydon and the Buckingham Chantry Chapel.
We’re also about 15 minutes’ drive from Milton Keynes, which has a number of fascinating attractions, including The National Film and Sci-Fi Museum, Bletchley Park & The National Museum of Computing.
We’re also about 11 minutes’ drive from the Hogshaw Farm & Wildlife Park.
