Binfield is a bustling village located in Berkshire, just 2 miles from Bracknell, 3 miles from Wokingham and 11 miles from Reading, making it a very well connected place to call home.
The village of Binfield has an interesting history with the village pub – the Stag and Hounds reportedly being originally a hunting lodge used by Henry VIII and Elizabeth I. It is said to have marked the centre of Windsor Forest. It has since evolved from a lodge to a coaching inn to the cosy village pub that it is now. In addition to this pub, you find two other pubs, a doctor’s surgery, a dentist, a chemist and a post office within the Co-op store, coffee shop, a fish & chip shop and other takeaways.
