Bloor Homeowner of the Year 2024 Competition – Terms and Conditions
Wow, what a year it’s been for new home transformations! Our Bloor community never fail to amaze us with their personal, homely creations and we’ve had the absolute pleasure of selecting the short-list for our monthly Homeowner of the Month competitions over the past 11-months of the year.
The question of who should be win our Homeowner of the Month title is always put to our trusted online community, asking you to vote for your favourite Bloor home on Instagram and Facebook. The winner is the homeowner who receives the most votes across the 2 platforms.
It’s now the final month of the 2024 and we’re asking our community to help us with an even bigger question: Who should be crowned Bloor Homeowner the Year?
Those who won their monthly title between January – November are nominees. But who should take our 2024 crown? You decide!
You’ll have just 1 week to make your choice, so look out for our voting posts on Instagram and Facebook to vote!
The homeowner who receives the most votes will a £150 John Lewis voucher – and of course, the prestigious title of Bloor Homeowner of the Year!
• This competition is open to UK Bloor Homes residents only and you must be 18 years or older to enter.
• The competition is closed to employees of Bloor Homes and their close relatives, and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation.
• Automated or bulk votes from third parties will be disqualified.
• The voting period for the competition begins on 11th December and ends at 14:00 on 18th December 2024.
• A short-list of 11 finalists consists of the 11 x Bloor Homeowner of the Month winners throughout January – November 2024 – these homeowners were announced on Bloor’s Instagram and Facebook channel over the same time period.
• The image which receives the most votes collectively over Instagram and Facebook will be announced Bloor Homes Homeowner of the Year for 2024.
• The voting post on Instagram will be a carousel post with 11 images, users must detail the slide number of their favourite Bloor home to vote.
• The voting post on Facebook will be a multiple image post with the homeowners’ Instagram handle listed for each entry – users must ‘react’ to their favourite images to vote.
• The community voting period will run for a maximum of 1 week only and the voting period dates will be specified on the voting posts.
• The competition winner will be announced by 19:00 on 20th December 2024.
• The winner will be informed of their win by direct message via @BloorHomes on Instagram and will be asked to provide contact details for their prize. The winner may also be contacted by the Bloor Homes PR team.
• The winning entry will also be announced as the competition winner on Facebook and Instagram.
• By entering the Homeowner of the Month competition, you are giving Bloor Homes permission to use your images across their social media and off-line marketing materials.
• The shortlist for each category will be chosen by Bloor Homes Marketing Dept.
• The prize is 1 x £150 John Lewis voucher.
• The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for any cash alternatives in whole or in part.
• The Homeowner of the Year competition is a standalone competition and Bloor Homes has the right to stop or pause the competition at any time, however the competition will not be stopped when a community voting period is in place.
