Bloor Homeowner of the Month Competition – Terms and Conditions
So, you’ve moved into your new Bloor home and you’ve been putting in the effort to bring your home to life, using your inner interior designer to really give it your personality and add your creative flair - thank goodness for clean walls and sparkling new kitchen and bathroom suites coming fitted as standard, hey!
Here at Bloor, we appreciate that it takes time to bring your dream Pinterest board home to life, but we feel it’s important to cheer you on and celebrate all of the small (and big) transformative steps you take along the way. So, whether you’re a Hessian fan and using every neutral shade under the sun or daring to go bold with all things bright and beautiful, we want to see!
And the best bit? Sharing your Bloor home journey with us could result in you winning a £150 John Lewis voucher – and even better, you could earn the prestigious title of Bloor Homeowner of the Month!
For your chance to win, all you need to do is share a photo of your Bloor home on Instagram using the hashtag #BloorHomes
Who wins? We will share a short-list of our 10 favourite Bloor home photos on 2 x voting posts – one on Instagram and one on Facebook. Our Bloor community will then be asked to vote for their favourite home and the homeowner with the most votes wins!
So, if you’re looking for an excuse to share another pic of your characterful bay window or is-this-really-mine kitchen, this is it!
- This competition is open to UK Bloor Homes residents only and you must be 18 years or older to enter.
- The competition is closed to employees of Bloor Homes and their close relatives, and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation.
- Automated or bulk entries from third parties will be disqualified.
- Homeowners can enter the competition on Instagram only.
- Only static images can be entered into the competition.
- Homeowners can enter multiple times with different images.
- The entry must contain the hashtag #BloorHomes in the caption and must have been posted during the competition entry period.
- The competition begins on 1st July 2023 and entries will close on the penultimate Sunday of every month. The next entry period will begin on the penultimate Monday or Tuesday of each month and will run to the penultimate Sunday of the following month. This is a rolling monthly competition.
- This competition will conclude in December with a ‘Homeowner of the Year’ Finale with a final entry date of Sun 15th December. The winner will be announced during w/c 16th December.
- A short-list of 10 finalists will be shared via 1 x Instagram carousel post and 1 x Facebook post on the penultimate Monday or Tuesday every month on Bloor Homes’ social channels – these posts form the monthly community vote.
- The image which receives the most votes collectively over Instagram and Facebook will be announced Bloor Homes [Month] Homeowner of the Month.
- The voting post on Instagram will be a carousel post with 10 images, users must detail the slide number of their favourite Bloor home to vote.
- The voting post on Facebook will be a multiple image post with the homeowner’s Instagram handle listed for each entry – users must ‘react’ to their favourite images to vote.
- The community voting period will run for a maximum of 1 week only and the voting period dates will be specified on the voting posts each week.
- The competition winner will be announced during the final week of the month.
- The winner will be informed of their win by direct message via @BloorHomes on Instagram and will be asked to provide contact details for their prize. The winner might also be contacted by the Bloor Homes PR team.
- The winning entry will also be announced as the competition winner on Facebook and Instagram.
- By entering the competition, you are giving Bloor Homes permission to use your images across their social media and off-line marketing materials.
- The shortlist for each category will be chosen by Bloor Homes Marketing Dept.
- The prize is 1 x £150 John Lewis voucher.
- The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for any cash alternatives in whole or in part.
- The Homeowner of the Month competition is a rolling monthly competition and Bloor Homes has the right to stop or pause the competition at any time, however the competition will not be stopped when a community voting period is in place.
