New girls football team nets a Bloor Homes sponsorship!
A new football team created for girls aged 9 and under has bagged sponsorship from us.
West Worcester Youth FC, which was set up four years ago, has secured kit sponsorship from us for its new under 9 girls’ team.
Simon Hill, Chairman of West Worcester Youth FC, said: “There is very little funding for grassroots football, so we rely on the support of local businesses, like Bloor Homes, to help us make football accessible to as many children as possible in the local community.
“The sponsorship from Bloor Homes has enabled us to purchase new kit for our new under 9 girls’ team. The new team comprises 10 girls, many of whom have been attending our development centres. The girls are all very much looking forward to wearing their smart new kits this season.
“West Worcester Youth FC has grown at an incredible rate, from just three teams four years ago, to 24 teams, with 216 registered players today. A further 200 children access our two development centres, which are designed to help children with little or no previous football experience. The teams play at West Worcester Park and Temple Laugherne.”
