We're proud to support 'Oscar Day' on 11th October
We were proud to hold a dress-down day at our Regional Head Office and our Sales Office at The Grove at Worcester in aid of Oscar Saxelby-Lee and 'Oscar Day'.
We were proud to hold a dress-down day at our Regional Head Office and our Sales Office at The Grove at Worcester in aid of Oscar Saxelby-Lee and 'Oscar Day'.
Staff at both sites were invited to come into work in dress-down clothes, in return for a donation towards Oscar’s fundraising appeal. Visitors to The Grove at Worcester were also able to contribute to the fundraising via a collection tin in the sales office. The dress-down day raised over £100.
Oscar, who lives in Worcester with his parents, needs lifesaving Car-T therapy or a further stem cell transplant to treat his T-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia, both of which are not available on the NHS. Oscar’s parents were trying to raise £500,000 to fund his treatment.
Steve Garton, Sales Director for Bloor Homes Western, said: “When we heard about the fundraising appeal for Oscar, we were all keen to get involved. We hope our small contribution goes some way to helping raise the necessary funds for the next stage of Oscar’s treatment.”
We're delighted to hear that Oscar's target of £500,000 for treatment has been hit.
