‘The Greatest Showhome bedroom’ for one Hereford pupil
Megan Evans, a pupil at Holmer C of E Academy school, was delighted to watch her winning bedroom design come to life in our new Showhome!
Designing our Showhomes is one of our favourite things to do, but that doesn't mean we should have all of the fun! Seven-year old Megan was one of a number of pupils at Holmer Church of England Primary who took part in our 'design a bedroom' challenge for our new Showhomes at Hereford.
Megan came up with a striking circus-inspired design for her room, featuring red and white-striped wallpaper, with a stunning circus print feature wall, bright curtains with custom-designed pelmet and clever use of props such as clown shoes, a ‘Strong Man’ weight, juggling balls and hula hoops.
Sally Holt, Regional Senior Sales Manager, said: “We were thrilled to meet Megan and her mum at one of the new showhomes at Hereford Point and show how her fantastic design has been brought to life by our interior design partners, Claude Hooper.”
Megan said: “It was so exciting to see my circus bedroom. I really love it; it’s such fun!”
“Megan’s bedroom design impressed us with its big and bold design, which is both playful and colourful and brings all the joys of the circus into the room. The design has transformed the room into a circus-inspired big top.
“We were extremely impressed by the quality and variety of entries submitted by all the pupils at Holmer Church of England Academy and selecting our winner was certainly a tough task. We hope Megan enjoyed exploring the bedroom she designed as much as we did in welcoming her to the site.”
Megan’s winning design can be seen in our new four-bedroom showhome, the Brooke, which is now open daily from 10am to 5pm, along with the our two bedroom Chesterton and three bedroom Byron show homes and a new sales office.
