Ian And Claire secure their dream family home in cheswick green
The Hall family finally found the space they deserve with a brand new Bloor home here in Solihull.
Having previously lived at their three-bedroom semi-detached house in the nearby district of Shirley for 15 years, Ian and Claire Hall felt it was time for a new home which better suited their needs.
The pair, along with their two daughters, Dolsie, 13, and Tallulah, 11, moved into a new three-bedroom townhouse at Cheswick Place - just a mile and a half from their old house - and have very quickly set about making it their own.
Ian, 48, an Aerospace Programme Manager at Rolls-Royce, said: “We viewed a variety of properties, both old and new build, but as soon as we saw the plans for The Scarsdale house type at Cheswick Place, we knew that we had found our perfect family home.
“Our previous house would have required significant updating and remodelling but the layout of our new home suits us to a tee. The open-plan kitchen/dining area forms the ideal heart of the home, and we had always wanted an island in the kitchen but had never previously had the space to accommodate one, so we love this feature in our new house.”
“With a stunning master bedroom and en suite on the top floor, our daughters have the first floor pretty much to themselves. Two bedrooms and a family bathroom provide them with plenty of space and will give them the privacy they will want as they get older.”
“The location is also fantastic; Dolsie and Tallulah have not had to switch schools and our 30-minute commute to work has not changed. Being in the countryside, there are some nice local walks along the canals to nearby pubs and restaurants, and Solihull town centre itself is just a 10-minute drive away.”
