The site manager at a Bloor Homes development in Wimborne is celebrating after picking up his second coveted industry award.

George Albion has been named as a winner in the first round of the National House Building Council’s (NHBC) Pride in the Job Awards 2019.

The accolade has been awarded in recognition of his work at the Bloor Homes development, Wimborne Chase in Wimborne.

George previously won an NHBC award when he was a site manager at the Bloor Homes’, Westgate development in Wareham in 2017.

George is among a select band of just 450 site managers from over 16,000 in the UK to receive the award for achieving excellent standards in house building.

He will now go forward to compete for the Seal of Excellence and Regional Award titles, the winners of which will be announced in October.

George said: “I am delighted to have received a second Pride in the Job award for the second Bloor Homes development that I have been working on. I couldn’t have done it without the hard work of my team at Wimborne Chase.”

Wimborne Chase is a Bloor Homes development of two, three and four-bedroom houses in Wimborne. It is close to the amenities of the town and perfect for enjoying the beautiful Dorset countryside.
