Elaine and Colin delighted with their brand new holiday home
Palm Cross delivered the perfect piece of paradise to Elaine and Colin Smith with their new Bloor home in the historic and picturesque town of Modbury.
Elaine, 62, and Colin, 64, purchased a four-bedroom house in the South Hams region of South Devon, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
The couple has a special connection with this breath-taking part of the country, having previously owned several holiday homes in South Hams.
Elaine, who works as a Primary School Assistant Teacher, said: “We love the South Hams area and for the past 12 years we always have had a second home there. All the properties we previously owned needed quite a bit of renovation work, which we did ourselves.
“We were so impressed with the new Bloor Homes development in Modbury. As soon as we visited Palm Cross, we knew that it was where our next holiday home would be, with the intention of making it permanent in the next two years.
“New build wasn’t something we’ve experienced before, but we wanted to take advantage of all benefits that come with it.
“The house we’ve purchased has a wonderful flow and the layout is perfect. From nearly every room, we overlook the beautiful Dartmoor National Park, which makes it really difficult to say which my favourite is because we are so thrilled with our Bloor home.”
Commenting on the customer service, Elaine said: “The sales team were absolutely fabulous, from the day we first went to the office, to the minute we received our keys and they couldn’t have been more helpful.
“A special mention must go to Kim and Karen, who would answer every question and make sure we were satisfied.
“Also, the Site Manager Mark was extremely kind and supportive, and ensured a smooth move. I must add that we were so impressed by one of the workers on site too. Dan, gave up his lunch break to help my husband to move our furniture because it was too heavy for me to carry.
“I can’t praise Bloor enough for the excellent service.”
