The site manager at a Bloor Homes development in Chippenham is celebrating after picking up a coveted construction award known as the ‘Oscars of the housebuilding industry.’

Dara Arkinson has been named as a winner of a Quality Award in the National House Building Council’s (NHBC) Pride in the Job Awards 2020.

He has been recognised for his hard work at Bloor Homes’ development Hilltop Park, which is in Chippenham. This accomplishment is the highest a Site Manager can achieve and recognises the hard work which goes into running a prestige site in the county.

Dara is among a select band of just 450 site managers from over 11,000 in the UK to receive the award for achieving excellent standards in house building.

He will now go forward to compete for the Seal of Excellence and Regional Award titles, the winners of which will be announced later this year.

Dara said: “I am delighted to have received a Quality Award for my work at the Hilltop Park development. The Pride in the Job Awards are the most highly regarded competitions in our industry, so it is a great honour to be recognised for my hard work. I also couldn’t have done it without the hard work of my team.”

Bloor Homes prides itself on sustaining excellent customer satisfaction, with its homes being constructed to the highest build quality and standard. The housebuilder was proud to receive a five-star builder status in the Home Builders Federation’s (HBF) 2018 customer satisfaction survey.

Hilltop Park is a Bloor Homes development of two, three and four-bedroom houses in Chippenham, off Methuen Park. Surrounded by beautiful landscaped hilltop parkland on the outskirts of Chippenham.
