Matthiola Rangers Football Club

Warrington Juniors Football teams nets sponsorship from Bloor Homes

Matthiola Rangers, a local football club which plays across the Great Sankey area, has secured sponsorship from Bloor Homes North West, the housebuilder responsible for delivering the new Lingley Green development off Omega Boulevard in Warrington. Bloor Homes’ Lingley Green development has provided a donation of £500 to support the club’s under 11 team for the 2019/2020 season.

The money will be used to provide full playing kit for the team who compete in the Warrington junior football league. Simon Greenway, Club Secretary and Coach of the Matthiola Ranger’s under 11’s team, commented: “Having the support of Bloor Homes is hugely significant for a club like Matthiola Rangers. We rely on monthly subscriptions from our parents to fund the club, so any help from we can secure from local businesses is greatly appreciated.
“Across the club, we have around 200 boys and girls aged 5 to 18 regularly participating and it is our aim to provide the best kit, equipment and facilities we can in order to give these young people the best start with their footballing journey. “With the help of Bloor Homes, our under 11’s team will have a brand new kit for the forthcoming season, which will ensure our players have a real sense of identity. We are looking forward to wearing our new kit next season.”

Sarah Ransom, Marketing Manager at Bloor Homes North West, said: “We are delighted to be able to provide support for Matthiola Rangers once again. This is the second year our Lingley Green development has been working with the club. “As a responsible housebuilder, we are committed to working with the communities where we develop. The Matthiola Ranger’s training ground at Great Sankey Neighbourhood Hub is just across the road from Lingley Green so we look forward to seeing the players in their new kits. We wish them the best of luck for the next season.”
