Bloor Homes adds festive cheer to schools Christmas Fayre
Housebuilder Bloor Homes helped spread some festive cheer at a primary school in Hugglescote by supporting its Christmas Fayre. Children and visitors to Hugglescote Community Primary School were treated to a night of festive food, fun and the chance to meet two very special guests at school’s fayre, which took place on Friday 7th December.
Bloor Homes, which is building its Oak Tree Gardens development in nearby Donington le Heath, donated £200 towards the event, which paid for the top raffle prize of £75 as well as presents for pupils, which were handed out on the day by Mr and Mrs Claus.
All the money raised from the fayre will be invested back in to the school, with plans to update playground equipment and refresh the books in the library.
Paul Driver, Head Teacher of Hugglescote Community Primary School said: “The Christmas Fayre is one of the highlights of our academic year and as always, we’re always delighted to welcome the local community in to the school for a fun, festive evening.
“All the money raised from the Christmas fayre goes back in to the school, supporting all pupils across the curriculum. Last year’s event helped us purchase iPad Minis for the school to use and this year we’re hoping to improve our playground equipment as well as helping fund each year group’s school trip.
“We’re very grateful to Bloor Homes for its kind donation and I would like to thank everyone who helped make this another successful fayre.”
