Cottage Farm Site Manager wins industry award

Site manager, Roger Howgill at Bloor Homes' Cottage Farm development in Oadby, is celebrating after picking up a coveted industry award.

Roger Howgill has been named as a winner of a Quality Award in the National House Building Council’s (NHBC) Pride in the Job Awards 2020.

He has been recognised for his hard work at Bloor Homes’ development Cottage Farm, in Oadby, Leicestershire.

Roger is among a select band of just 450 site managers from over 11,000 in the UK to receive the award for achieving excellent standards in house building.

He will now go forward to compete for the Seal of Excellence and Regional Award titles, the winners of which will be announced later this year.

Roger said: “I am delighted to have received a Quality Award for my work at the Cottage Farm development. The Pride in the Job Awards are the most highly regarded competitions in our industry, so it is a great honour to be recognised for my hard work. I also couldn’t have done it without the hard work of my team.”
