Press release: School children inspire Bloor Homes showhome bedroom with winning design

Competition winning pupils at Wheelwright Lane Primary School in Ash Green visited Bloor Homes’ Springfield Gardens development opposite the school to see for themselves how their winning jungle themed bedroom design had been transformed into a stylish children’s room in the new showhome.

The children took part in a competition to design the bedroom last year, with the winning design chosen by the sales and marketing team for its creativity and colourfulness. The prize was £500 towards sports equipment for the school.

Carolyne Watkinson, sales director for Bloor Homes’ East Midlands region said: “All the children who entered came up with lovely ideas and it was great to see so much creativity from such young people.

“We really enjoyed working with the school and implementing the fabulous design, and it was great to welcome the children to site to see it for themselves. The feedback from visitors to the showhome has been fantastic too.”

The design is in the third bedroom of the family The Hallam showhome, which boasts a stunning open plan kitchen / dining / family area, spacious lounge and ensuite to master bedroom.

Visitors can see the winning designed bedroom at Springfield Gardens, located off Wheelwright Lane in Ash Green. More information is available at bloorhomes.com
