Boorley Park Primary School provides free activities to children thanks to Bloor Homes donation

Bloor Homes’ Southern region was pleased to support a local primary school’s Summer Fete this year, with a donation of £500 to keep activities free for the pupils and their families.

Organisers of the event at Boorley Park Primary School approached Bloor Homes on the basis of putting the donation towards a number of activities for children of all ages to ensure everyone could take part and enjoy themselves.

The School, which opened just four years ago, is a thriving community just 0.8 miles from Bloor Homes’ Boorley Park development, and as keen supporters of community events and activities around its developments, Bloor Homes was happy to contribute.

Lucy Reynolds, Sales Director for Bloor Homes’ Southern region, said: “We really liked the approach from the School which was keen to involve all the children by providing a number of activities free of charge. Boorley Park Primary School is a lovely new school and as our ‘neighbour’ just a 15-minute walk from our development on Winchester Road, we were more than happy to help.”

Hazel Wills a Co-Chair of the Parents and Teachers Association (PTA) at the School, said: “As a fairly new school we are building our Summer Fete year on year and are always grateful for the support from local businesses such as Bloor Homes. The children really enjoyed the event and we were very lucky with the weather.  Thank you to Bloor Homes for their support and ensuring inclusivity for all our pupils.”
