Bloor Site Managers across the country win prestigious industry awards

A huge congratulations to our twelve Site Managers across the country who have taken home prestigious Pride in the Job awards over the last month.

These awards are coveted within the construction industry and are only given to those who show true excellence, and encourage and motivate their teams to build new homes to an exceptional standard.

Firstly, a massive well done to Michael Spalding at Bloor Homes Eastern who won a prestigious Seal of Excellence Award for Trinity Meadows in Stowmarket. This is one of the highest accolades in the industry, so congratulations Michael and thank you!

From our South Midlands region, congratulations to Neil Warwick, Site Manager for Wallingford Reach in Gifford, who was awarded a Pride in the Job Quality Award. Our two deserving winners from the Midlands region are Clive Vickers for his work at Penkridge Grange and Nick Schofield for Bilbrook Mill in Wolverhampton.

In the South West region, Charlie Church received a Quality Award for his work at Oriel Gardens in Faringdon, while Wayne Jacks from the Southern region took the award home for Kingston Park in Abingdon.

Simon Dixon, Construction Director for Bloor Southern, said: “This is the third award that Wayne has won over the last four years, which is incredibly well deserved by him and his team. As recognition of his hard work, Wayne has recently been promoted to Contracts Manager.”

From Bloor Western, Dan Knight won for Brize Meadow in Carterton. Chris Mott, Site Manager at Cropwell Meadows in Nottingham and Mick Rose at Hollycroft Grange in Hinckley both won for our East Midlands region.

We are very proud to say that three Site Managers won Quality Awards from our North West region. Huge congratulations to Wayne Marsden for Lowton Heath, Paul Cummins for Elowen Garden Village in Prescot and Paul Roberts for Kingswood in Poynton.

Andrew Ward, Construction Director for our North West region, said: “All three of our winning Site Managers have been with us between eight and ten years and started off life at Bloor as assistants.

“In the time they’ve been with us, they have won ten NHBC awards between them. It’s a real testament to their effort and commitment, that they all have progressed to be among the best in their fields. Well done to all three of you, and thank you for all your hard work.”

All of our winners showcase the very best of the standards and values we promote here at Bloor Homes. Thank you to all of you and your teams for your hard work.
