Bloor Homes names Shepshed development as name search competition ends
Following a great response from the public to give a new development at Shepshed a new name, Bloor Homes has chosen a winner.
Elliot Cranmer came up with the winning name Woolcroft Rise, by taking inspiration from the area’s long-standing heritage as a key area for the wool trade and combining it with the idea of a charming rise or hill.
Clare Bright, Sales Director for Bloor Homes’ East Midlands region, said: “We had lots of great suggestions and would like to thank the everyone for putting them forward via our Facebook page. It was a hard decision, but we all felt Elliot’s entry really stood out as a fitting name as it reflects the historical significance of the local area, whilst representing a new beginning for the lovely new homes and community we are bringing to this great location. We are delighted to award the prize of a £150 John Lewis voucher to Elliot for naming the development.”
The newly named Woolcroft Rise development of 200 new two, three and four bedroom homes across 18 different house styles offers something for everyone.
The new showhomes are expected to launch this Autumn. To register for priority marketing information about the new homes as they are released for sale and the showhome launch, visit: bloorhomes.com
