The new play area - part of the second phase at the popular new development - was unveiled by Paul Thomas, Executive Officer of Harlestone Manor Parish Council at a special community event. Residents of all ages were invited to be among the first to enjoy the new play area and its facilities.

Bloor Homes had also arranged for an ice cream van and face painter to be on hand, alongside refreshments and goody bags.

Carl Slater, Regional Managing Director for Bloor Homes’ South Midlands region, said: “Thank you to everyone who came to our launch event, it was great to see so many residents enjoying the new facilities. We are proud of our long history of commitment to community and creating places people are proud to call home. We all recognise the importance of outdoor spaces and play spaces for families; this is the first of two play areas planned for Harlestone Park, with a second set to follow in due course.”

Residents can also look forward to two circular family walking routes and generous areas of green open space, perfect for walking, jogging and walking the dog.

Paul Thomas, said: “Thank you to Bloor Homes for inviting me to officially open the new play area. It is always important for parish councils such as our own to be involved in new developments and it is equally important that we celebrate the successes. It’s really good to see the hard work and planning that goes into a development coming to such positive fruition; the new play areas and green spaces are really positive spaces for all the new residents at Harlestone Park.”

The new play area is the latest addition to the growing Harlestone Park community, which continues to prove popular with buyers looking for high-quality new homes in Northampton.

Bloor Homes currently has a range of three and four bedroom homes available across eleven different house styles, starting at £300,000 for a three bedroom ‘Grovier’ house style.

Carl Slater adds: “The beauty of seeing a development at this stage is that you really get an informed view of how the wider environment will look, whilst also having a broad range of house styles and different plot locations to choose from.”
