Bloor Homes provides sponsorship to local school
Bloor Homes recently donated £250 towards the Camulos Academy Summer Fayre, which was held recently to raise funds to upgrade the school’s learning facilities.
The Camulos Academy is located adjacent to Bloor Homes’ Kingswood Heath development, where the new homes are attracting a range of buyers drawn to the area, in part to this excellent school.
Jo Partridge, V@CA (Volunteers at Camulos Academy) for and on behalf of Camulos Academy, said: “Being a relatively new school, we are striving to forge links with the local and wider community. We were overwhelmed with the support we received last year from local families, organisations and businesses and this year was just as successful. The volunteers are delighted that Bloor Homes can support the event this year, and the sponsorship so generously offered has enabled us to buy gazebos that can be used not only for the Summer Fayre, but for other outdoor events throughout the school year.
“The profits from our fundraising efforts last year have been used to purchase high-quality outdoor benches, which are used by the children for educational activities and play. With the proceeds of this year's Summer Fayre we would like to buy further outdoor equipment, to make the environment more engaging for the children.”
