Housebuilders cash boost for local Boreham school
Housebuilder Bloor Homes has donated £1,000 to Boreham Primary School to help fund refurbishment work on its Early Years outdoor area.
The village primary school, which has just over 200 pupils, received the cash boost from Bloor Homes for its fundraiser, which is aiming to raise around £10,000 to fund the refurbishment work. Bloor Homes is currently building a stunning development of new homes off Plantation Road in Boreham.
Ian Bowyer, Head Teacher at Boreham Primary School, said: “We are so grateful to Bloor Homes for their extremely generous donation to Boreham Primary School of £1,000. This money will be put towards refurbishing and resurfacing our Early Years outdoor area.
“This will benefit our youngest children hugely, as they will be able to access a safe, well-organised and more vibrant and appealing outdoor area which is available to the children continuously to support their learning.”
Once complete, Bloor Homes at Boreham will comprise a total of 145 homes, along with 1.31 hectares of open space, two ponds and a new play area. The development will see a good mix of two, three, four and five bedroom homes, providing much-needed new housing for the area for everyone from first time buyers, to couples and families looking to upsize.
