Commuting from Woolton to central Liverpool by car, bus, or train is easy, with the suburb a little over half an hour from the city centre. Woolton has several parks and a number of schools, making it ideal for those with young children.

Allerton

Young professionals and families alike will also be interested in Allerton, a popular suburban area in the southeast of Liverpool, near Woolton.

Allerton Road is one of Liverpool’s more popular shopping destinations, with its wide array of high-street stores. The area is also known for having several schools rated Outstanding by Ofsted and is less than half an hour from Liverpool city centre.

Aigburth

Aigburth is a more rural suburb, situated in south Liverpool. The area is less than 20 minutes from the city centre.
