Royal Leamington Spa is a large town located east of Warwick and south of Coventry. It’s a 45-minute drive away from the city of Birmingham and a 50-minute drive away from Leicester and Northampton. It’s also only 10 miles north of the Cotswolds National Landscape, putting one of the largest green spaces in England on the doorstep of our new homes in Leamington Spa.
Transport in Leamington Spa
Located just north of the M40, Leamington Spa benefits from a direct route into Banbury, Bromsgrove, and towards London. You can reach Coventry along the A46, Northampton along the A425, and Birmingham via the M42, while several motorways - the M1, the M5, the M6, and the M6 Toll - are all within an hour’s drive of home.
As for train travel, Leamington has a four-platform station in the town centre, which you can use to get to Nuneaton, Birmingham and Manchester, alongside local stations such as Warwick and Banbury.

If you’d like to experience Leamington Spa’s retail scene, the best venue to do so is the Royal Priors Shopping Centre. Located along Warwick Street in the town centre, the mall provides a range of high street options including Ernest Jones, Moss, Clements & Church, and several charity shops. You can also visit the Covent Garden Quarter Market on the last Sunday of every month, or a retail market held on Holly Walk every Friday. As for large-scale shopping trips, Birmingham’s Bullring is a 50-minute drive from Leamington Spa and offers over 160 shops including brands such as Swarovski, Fatface, River Island, LEGO, and Calvin Klein.
