Getting to and from Harlestone
Harlestone is situated on the outskirts of Northampton, with our new builds at Harlestone Park about 10 minutes’ drive from the centre of Northampton.
Northampton’s train station is conveniently located just 4 miles from our development.
There’s a direct train that runs from Northampton to London Euston, which gets you into the capital in about an hour.
Other regular services include trains to Birmingham New Street, Bletchley, Coventry, Milton Keynes, and Rugby. There are also services to Birmingham International which then connect you to Birmingham Airport.
We’re about 6 minutes’ drive from access to the M1, which you can use to get to Leicester in about 50 minutes, and London in an hour and 10 minutes.
Things to do in Harlestone
Harlestone Park is just 5 minutes’ drive from the Duston Sports Centre, which has a gym on site and offers various sports activities to get involved in, including indoor cycling sessions and dance classes. Dallington Fitness also hosts yoga, body pump and various other wellbeing classes.
You can also find a swimming pool - 7 minutes’ drive away – at the Nuffield Health Northampton Fitness & Wellbeing Gym.
For woodland walks, there’s the Harlestone Firs – about 2 minutes’ drive from our development – with outdoor sports pitches available at St Crispin’s Park – 4 minutes’ drive away.
There’s a Tesco Express about 3 minutes’ drive from our development, and The Grosvenor Shopping Centre – home to several high street stores, including Boots, Primark, H & M and River Island – is about 12 minutes’ drive away.
Popular schools in Harlestone
We’re less than 5 minutes’ drive from three primary schools, all of which cater for children between the ages of 4 and 11. These are Harpole Primary School, Harlestone Primary School and Duston Eldean Primary School.
There are also a couple of secondary schools near our development too. These are:
● The Duston School - Going beyond a standard secondary school, Duston School also offers a primary school and A-level option, providing children with an all-through education, with pupils as young as 4 and as old as 18 being catered for. The school is 4 minutes’ drive from our development.
● Campion Secondary School - Campion is a secondary school and sixth form college, catering for children between the ages of 11 and 18. The school is a 9 minutes’ drive away.
It should also be noted that we’re less than 20 minutes’ drive from the University of Northampton.

We are located just 3 miles from the historic stately home of Althorp House & 5 miles from Holdenby House both hold regular cultural and literary events over the summer.
Whereas Delapre Abbey is located in the heart of Northampton only 6 miles away with the Orangery café, Hibiscus restaurant and woodland walks. Cultural events include Bite Street, Summertime Live, Soultasia and many more.
Sixfields retail complex is just 3 miles away where you will find Sainsburys, Boots, Next, M & S Food as well as Tenpin Bowling and the Odeon Cinema. Whereas Northampton Filmhouse & Derngate Theatre are located in the centre of Northampton which is a 15 minute drive.
We’re also just 4 minutes’ drive from Northampton Golf Club and 12 minutes’ drive from Nene Angling Club and Pitsford Reservoir. Upton Park is only a 10 minute drive and hosts park run every Saturday.
