There are many local attractions to discover in close proximity to the development including Congleton Park with its Childrens Play area, beautiful lawns and Pavilion, Astbury Mere is ideal for a nice Sunday stroll, and you could always finish it off with afternoon tea, or an ice cream at Glebe farm just down the road. In the warm summer months Congleton Paddling pool is very popular, run by the council since the 1930's, its a firm family favourite.
Local Town
Congleton town centre is just 2 miles south of the site. Being a larger Cheshire town, Congleton is home to a good variety of high street stores, Banks, Cafes and eateries that easily provide for daily living requirements. Additionally the town also benefits from a retail park positioned close to a large Tesco Supermarket outlet. The Retail Park comprises of an M & S Food, Halfords, Laura Ashley as well as many others high street brands.

Being located within close proximity to the A34 and M6, the site location is well placed for travel by road to the surrounding areas. Congleton Train station is 2.2 miles from Hudson Meadows and approximate 20 minute walk from site.The station is operated by Northern Rail and offers regular direct services to Manchester Piccadilly and Stoke on Trent, calling at local stations on route. Wider connections can be made travelling via Crewe station (14 miles) which benefits being a central junction on the west coast mainline offering regular services to London Euston, Manchester Piccadilly, Liverpool Lime Street and Glasgow Central in addition to connections to Warrington, Chester and North Wales.
Education
Families moving to Hudson Meadows will find they don’t have to travel far to find good local schools. There are a range of Ofsted rated good Primary Schools in the local vicinity, including Buglawton and Havannah Primary School , just over half a mile away, Eaton Bank Academy provides secondary education for 11-18 year olds, from all over Cheshire.
