What Will Your Day Look Like?
This varied role will see you work with our Land Department and Commercial Department as you co-ordinate the tendering process, analyse costs and place orders. In addition, you’ll achieve the adoption of areas/apparatus, oversee sub-contractors and keep all relevant records up-to-date.
You will also be:
- Liaising with statutory authorities and planning/highway departments as required, achieving the adoption of areas/apparatus (section 104/38/185/etc.) in the shortest possible time and monitoring the quality of work as required.
- Ensuring all sub-contract labour complies with Bloor Homes Health & Safety policies at all times, managing their performance and quality of work accordingly.
- Ensuring the completion of all relevant paperwork from receipt of instruction through to adoption of works.
- Keeping accurate records of all costs incurred and liaising with the Commercial Department as appropriate.

What You'll Need To Succeed:
- Background in the construction industry and in particular road construction.
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Ability to communicate with Local Authorities / Solicitors and Customers alike.
- Competent IT skills
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Budget Management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines to meet targets.
- Construction Management related qualification desirable.
