Local school pupil's bedroom design wows at Windrush Place
Take an adventure into a magical woodland themed bedroom at Windrush Place, designed by a group of local pupils.
The four bedroom Thornsett and the three bedroom Yarkhill showhomes were officially launched at the Windrush Place development on Saturday 31st March - with the Thornsett home offering up something a little special.
The showhome features a unique bedroom designed by a group of local pupils at West Witney Primary School.
Neve Thomas, 7, Emily Bushnell, 8, Sienna Betteridge, 8, created a magical woodland-themed room, which won first prize in the Design a Bedroom competition run by the national housebuilder.
As part of the prize, the talented young designers were invited to see the finished product before the showhome was opened to the public. The showhome was also visited by the other two runner ups in the competition, Benjamin Smillie,11, and Eve Woodruff, 10.
Clare Doody, Regional Sales Manager for Bloor Homes Western, said: “The children used the space of the room very well and thought about every element of the design from wall decoration to artwork, bedding and accessories.
“Their design is absolutely fantastic and it was wonderful to see their reaction when they saw their ideas brought to life inside the showhome.”
